Hilarious and appropo! I saw Dr. Hook live in Destin in about 1975-76 at Boss Hardware, which was in the industrial park off Airport Rd. It was a big aluminum warehouse/shed in which they built a giant stage and bar. I was a kid. Good times. I also saw Waylon Jennings there. The place was short-lived. I was about 15 and borrowed my cousin's fishing license to use for an ID to get in. Yes, a fishing license was considered a valid form of ID to buy beer back then. Anybody remember those shows?
