Richard Beans spirit is Free

[Cork On the Ocean]

Kurt please move this if I've posted in the wrong place but couldn't find a forum that seems right so that the public would have access.

Many know Robin Beans, one of my realtors and I am posting for those who may be on the board who know either Robin or Rich. Robin is fine and is surrounded by family and friends. Here is the obit on Rich:

Rich Beans, 55, a full time resident of Flip Flop Lane in Seacrest Beach passed away September 19, 2008 after a long battle with cancer.

Richard lived and worked most of his life in Palm Beach County where he retired as Captain of the City of West Palm Beach Fire Department after 28 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his wife Robin Rader Beans, son Russell and daughter Sarah Beans, twin brother Robert Beans, sister Barbara Foley, numerous inlaws, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled at 4PM, Friday September 26 at the Chapel at the Beach, Rosemary Beach, FL

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Richard Beans Memorial Fund, c/o The Chapel at the Beach, PO Box 611041, Rosemary Beach, FL 32461

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard and Robin last spring. Richard was quite the character and could manage to crack a joke even as he became increasingly ill. I will miss seeing him around.

it' good to know he was able to live in SoWal, and that his family will be ok
