Rick Scott to pick Jennifer Carroll as running mate

[wrobert]

So now what could be wrong with this? The lady is smart, politically astute, lots of experience. And she wants to get to work.

Who's Jennifer Carroll and what position is she running for?

Well, she is in the dastardly NAACP and was born on a small island that is kind of far from mainland USA (Trinidad). Two no-no's in the contemporary GOP. Have you seen her birth certificate? Trinidad is kinda close to Venezuela, you know.

We won't care about the birth certificate until she runs for president.;-)

I wonder when the NAACP will have their press conference endorsing the Scott/Carroll ticket? I am sure they will actively campaign for the 1st African-American Lt. Governor in Florida history.

Florida House of Representatives - Jennifer?Carroll?

I like her background, U.S. Navy for 20 years, congressman, mother of three. Hope she's sharp as a whip, the liberal media will tear her down otherwise.

the other candidate

Rod Smith shares Alex Sink's commitment to diversifying Florida's economy, strengthening our public schools, and holding Tallahassee politicians accountable. As a former prosecutor, Rod knows how to root out corruption, and will be a strong partner as together they clean up Tallahassee. As Alex's running mate, Rod is a man of integrity who cares as much about Florida as Alex does.

Raised on a family farm in South Florida, Rod Smith knows firsthand the true value of family and hard work. He graduated from public schools in Palm Beach County and worked his way through college, earning his law degree from the University of Florida. Rod served nearly 20 years as a labor lawyer defending working Floridians.

Hmm, owned by the unions?

When will the Republican Party endorse Scott?
