What the Fluff !?!?!
I've been hearing about this video and I'm glad I got to see it. Four minutes of
carefully edited, cut and pasted video out of several days worth of interviews? Come on.

This is just a clumsy, slanted attempt at a hatchet job. There's hours and hours of testimony that the author of this thing conveniently omits. After all, the author doesn't want to confuse anyone with the facts, just this silly, irresponsible piece of fluff.
The commissioners are not micro-managers. That's what us long-term residents have worked so hard to get away from. More importantly, the commissioners do not take or keep county records. By statute, that is the responsibility of the Clerk of Court, who has proved without question that the records were then and are still being kept in compliance with state law.
The only question was whether or not the thousands of records were able to be tranferred into the format that the person requested.
So, the lawyer's question was a misstatement of the facts, a routine case of mis-direction and a little legal sleight-of-hand.
The actual question should have been "Do you know the exact manner in which another constitutional officer - the Clerk of Court - keeps the county commission's records?" I'm sure that none of the commissioners would know - any more than they would know how the Tax Collector stores their reciepts, how the Property Appraiser arrives at his figures or how the sheriff determines what shift a deputy would work. The commissioners would only know who is responsible for these duties.
These various commission chairmen correctly and legally signed the document, based on the assurance of the Clerk's office that everything was in compliance - and it was.
This ploy was like asking if a man still beats his wife... there is no yes-or-no way to answer the question.
I only want to know what this silly thing has to do with Rosier Cuchens (who, by the way, did
knowingly and deliberately sign a false document and send it to the state).

"Walton County Commissioners testify at a deposition regarding public records law
I find this appalling ! They don't seem to know anything."
