My husband and I actually owned one of these VW buses. People were always shooting us the peace sign, and my husband is about the most conservative person on the planet. I'm not, in case you haven't noticed. (Click on the attachment to see the animation.)

I think he's talking about the really hippie shirts. I wear halter tops and am not a hippie! He's thinking like large napkin with strings that tie behind. Boobies just flop all over the place. Usually accomanied with hairy pits and patchoulli oil.
