Wanted Road biking Gear

I've got my bike and am just starting off in the sport. The bike itself just about broke me ($$$) and I'm looking for some used "bells and whistles" like Aerobars and computers and such. Please shoot me a note if you've got some old gear you'd let me buy off of you for less than retail.

I have Profile aerobars which I've rarely used. Got them and found out that I didn't like the riding position when using them. They are several models old, but very similar to the "century" model in the Profile line. click here to see century.

photo is of Profile Century model. Mine are Profile brand, but not sure of the exact model.

They are adjustable to fit. They retail for $60. I'll sell them for $20. They are in great condition.

Since you are just starting, I'd hold off on investing in lots of tech beyond a bike, padded shorts, helmet, a speedometer/odometer, and gloves.

REI is having a big sale if you feel the need to add items though.

Besides a helmet and shorts just ride and figure out what you need along the way, you'll always want something new. But get a speedometer with cadence, Big Daddy's had one for around $70 a couple of years ago if I remember correctly.

I use my Garmin for cycling and running. Be careful out there and have funn!!

If you hit them at the right time, sometimes you can score padded bike shorts at the Saucony store at the outlet mall at a pretty nice discount.
