Robert 'Bob' Hudson - Thank You

[Bob Hudson]

I would like to express my appreeciation to all on Sowal for allowing me the opportunity to present myself to the citizens of Walton County and answer any and all questions posed by those on this site.

I would also like to congratulate Cecilia Jones on her election. The people of Walton County have spoken and selected her as their District 5 Commissioner.

To Sid, Alan and George I say thank you for allowing me to get to know each and everyone of you and your families during the campaign. You each truly have Walton Counties best interest at heart.

PS:

I spent this morning collecting my signs from the Bay County line to the Okaloosa County Line and from the Bay to the Beach. I will work the northern part of Walon County tomorrow and have contacted John Magee and will be taking advantage of his offer to recycle campaign signs free of charge.

(If I missed one just please post here and I will gladly remove it - I will monitor this thread for a few more days to make sure they are all removed.)

Thanks for the opportunity to take part in the democratic process of selecting those to represent each of us at the local level.

Bob Hudson

Thanks Bob!

Bob, thanks for running, and thanks for your continued efforts to keep watch over the taxpayer's money.

To anyone seeing political signs posted, it may be easier to collect them and recycle them yourself. Think of it like the clean up after July 4th. Yes, the people who ignite the fireworks should pick up after themselves, but it sure helps if we all "pitch in."

Does anyone know if the recycle bins will allow that kind of plastic sign board? Maybe some of the artsy people could make art from the metal stakes and plastic signs, and sell them. Anyone?

Congratulations Bob on a great race. I will see you down the line....

Hudson ad. in the mail

I've read several very respectful messages from Bob Hudson on Sowal over the past couple of weeks. So I'm wondering why I received such a negative anti-Alan Osborne mailing from the Hudson campaign earlier this week.

It refers to Osborne as a "bench warmer" and "man of limited interests." Unfortunately, negative advertising does work, though it turns-off many from politics and elections. It's up to the candidates to avoid this kind of garbage, and it's up to the electorate to support candidates who don't resort to this type of negative junk--focus on the issues, instead.
