Rook Family Final Update

SoWal Insider
I received another letter from the family today. This one was from Jim Rook's son Chris biological mother. In her letter she says that the other young girl, Meghan, Kylie's friend just got out of the hospital to go home, and her doctors are very optimistic about her recovery. They anticipate that she will be able to run in about 8 months! As she stated, there continues to be bright spots in the midst of darkness.

That is encouraging news, but still sad as to what occurred. I hope Chris and his sister are doing well emotionally and are receiving alot of support from other family and friends.

They are getting lots of support from family and freinds. Kylie moved in with Margie's sister and husband within a week of the accident. They had her room painted and her posters on the wall. They made her feel very welcomed and transitioning was less stressful due to proximity of her aunt and uncle. (same neighborhood) Margie's aunt is quite a lovely lady, as is Chris's mother. They certainly have a very caring network of people.

Thank heaven for family. I just can't even imagine! And how wonderful you are for being so kind and caring Mango. Kudos to a very good lady :clap_1: and glad to hear that they have support and are on the road to recovery.
