Rubio announces candidacy for Senate?

According to the tweets I am getting Rubio is suppose to announce at 10AM this morning. There is suppose to be a video posted on his website, marcorubio.com.

Some DC sources were reporting it last night also. I wonder if it will affect Crist's decision. I would say no. The report said that some of the GOP base is wanting him to run against Crist as they believe Crist is too moderate and don't like the fact that he supported the stimulus. Nevertheless, Crist should be a strong favorite in the primary when he decides to run.

I can only imagine. Conservative dollars are now cut off from Crist, and with the commercials that the DSEC is running, that is going to cost Crist those democrat dollars.

Crist does poll very well across the State, but he loses steam when Democrats are asked if they would vote for him over a Democrat.
