Rubio at CPAC

New posts
It depends on whether he's really entangled in the recent RPOF wacky hijinks. If he had a RPOF Amex card he used 'frequently', it's going to be hard to explain.

Saving freedom? I just wish someone would tell me what freedoms they are saving. It seems to me that these people are the very ones limiting freedom.

Oh, and these people were chanting "Run, Dick, run!" when Dick Cheney popped in today...so obviously they aren't wanting to save my freedom from paying taxes to finance torture.

I won't defend the Republican Party when it comes to promoting individual freedom, but I will point out that social democrats have no business criticizing Republicans on the matter. Both groups infringe individual rights through their policies.

Between Crist and Rubio, I'll take Rubio. RINO's like Crist are why the party is in trouble and people have no faith they will do what they say.

He looks like a milquetoast 8th grader, kinda like Bobby Jihndal. His following right now is "white only" teabaggers so far--not sure how far that will get him in Fla. He may need to get more aggressive with Conservative social issues, to shore up the Sarah Palin base--anti abortion, anti gay marriage.

I don't hear anyone talking about "social issues" these days, what I hear people talking about is jobs (keeping one, their child getting one and making enough money to stay in front of inflation), government spending (mostly federal but some of all levels) and the growth of the national debt. Whoever gets out in front on those issues will win whatever election they are in.

P.S. People are also very anti-incumbent no matter what party that incumbent belongs to.

You left out the other Progressive code words like Cheney, tourcher, & gun rights.

If the race is close, and it appears so, trust me, Rubio will go there quickly with 4 things written on his hands: ...guns-good, gays-bad, global warming-not happening, death penalty-good..that Teabagger Repulican stuff.
