s. Walton Co. House Ransacked

New posts
Wow - what is going on down there this year? Crime in my neighborhood in Atlanta has always been low, but is even lower now. I am very fortunate with my neighbors at the beach - all caring and keep an eye out for certain.

I hope car accidents and crime slow down for S. Walton. And, thanks for the article! Good info. and reminder to us all to be more cautious!

I know someone with a house south of 30A who had items stolen at her house, including a couple of thousand dollars worth of surfboards. Her teenaged kids were hanging out at Seaside where she thought they'd be safe. Apparently the perps were local kids, savvy in zeroing in on naive kids, softened them up with free cigarettes, etc., found out where they lived, and then robbed the house.

She is putting in a burglar alarm.

Did they catch them and prosecute or are we just assuming on this? Could've been some of those hoodlums from ATL or even bored house wives from Birmingham. ;-)

"'Enquiring' minds want to know." I don't have an inquiring mind, I guess, because I didn't ask that question.:funn:
