Mr. Potato Head's worst nightmare
Hey everybody,i would like to announce the unfortunate closing of the 331,
We will be closing the doors Sunday September 30th,it is with a great deal of sadness that i make this anouncement.I
In 1997 Connie Bailey and i talked about us moving in the location ,things didn't work out to my great dissapointment,it was always a dream of mine to have a chance at it.in 2002 that chance materialised thanks to my close friend,Mr. Loyd Blue who brokered a great deal for Philippe and I ,5 years of are lives were spent running that amazing location,my very own wife ,my father ,many wonderfull full time employees about 40 of them were proud to call it their own.We understand the reasons why it must be left behind, but it still very difficult to accept.
Restaurant are challenging to operate and when you are fortunate enough to have a good one you want to protect it carrefully.
So thank you everyone for the support and please come enjoy the old Bailey's before it's gone because when we are done, it will never be a hang out again at least not like you knew it .
We will be celebrating on sunday the 30 th starting at 3:00 pm ,music ,food the works all you sowalers might even get a free brewsky on uncle oli here.....

:( ...we are sad with you, oli. But, we will follow you wherever you go! Thanks for all the memories at the Sea Bar and 331...those can never be torn down!

:( :( :(

I still wish the DOT would consider a flyover, like they did in PCB on Thomas Drive, and over West Bay Bridge, leaving the 3Thirty1 and SeaBar where they are.

Oli, is there anyway to move the building....or will they just bulldoze it down? I hate to see the old Bailey's/331 taken down! We all know where ever your next venture is it will be successful!

 Kat

 You know how we feel about this.

What can we do? We need another place to throw down.

Oli!!! Call Gus...maybe he'll go into something with you.;-)

Last time I was at 331, the youngcouple sitting across from us got engaged. When she went to the restroom, he gave the waitress the ring to bring with the salad. When she brought the plate with the ring box wrapped in a napkin on the plate, he got out of the booth on one knee, and asked her in front of her parents and sister.  It was so sweet.

  thanks for the memories
