This winter festival favorite is back for the 27th Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival. Sample a variety of gumbo and vote your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner! Dark or light roux? Chicken, sausage or seafood? Celebrity judges will name the “Area’s Best,” and award the most creative set-up as “Best Display.” Gulf Coasts restaurants will be featured along with live music and children’s activities. Tickets to Saturday’s main event are available now! Tickets here!
Sandestin Gumbo Festival was awarded the People's Choice award for Best One Day Event in the recent Visit South Walton TDC Perfect in South Walton 2016 awards. And with good reason. This is one of our favorite events of the entire year... for the great gumbo, good drinks, live music in a festive atmosphere with a New Orleans feel in the Village. It's ALL good.
We LOVE the gumbo festival! Seriously good food and what a great time. Last year was perfect weather, previous years have been quite cold, but it is awesome no matter. We usually see Dikki Du & The Zydeco Krewe performing at the festival.
