Wanted Scooter!!!

anybody have a scooter sitting in your garage, that you want to part with? i dont really want to spend too much money, just something to get me to and from work on nice days. preferably a 150CC, so I'm not that guy holding up a long line of cars on 30A.

bumping this up. also, i should clarify, i will certainly buy a 49cc, but it needs to at least go 45mph (which i hear is somewhat unusual for a 49cc).

We have a 150cc brand new for $600.00. You will need to get it licensed though. It will go about 52 miles per hour. My husband and I just sold our grocery store, and we also sold scooters. We had a few left that we didn't sell. We are closing on a condo and will be in the area on Thurs. through Sunday morn. Let me know if you are interested.

I would also consider a small motorcycle (250CC) if somebody had something along those lines.

Have you tried some of the scooter rental places in PCB? This is usually the time of year they sell off old or unwanted inventory.

i was trying not to go that route. i'm sure rentals are not going to be in as good of condition, as ones that are owned by an individual, but I might at least go take a look if things don't pan out here. thanks for the suggestion.

You'd be surprised, they usually get better and more frequent maintenance. A friend of mine bought one 5 years ago and all she's had to do is have the oil changed.
