Yeah, how big of a house are you looking for? My Aunt has a house that just sits empty.

4 bedrooms, a basement, 2.5 baths if possible. It's all about the schools and the feel of the towns and what we can afford to get into. Not sure what we will get out of it on this end.

Yeah, I know, a lot of the New Englanders we met were very ... restrained. But it was a good experience and will be good for the family.

SPEAKING OF MOTHERS FREAKING OUT, shoutout to anyone to please please don't post anything on facebook about the move. I am an idiot. I told you people and sent a friend request to my mom and she is all up in my business and she DOES NOT KNOW YET about the move. Because she will kill me. I need a day or two to like, I don't know, get my affairs in order or something.

Glad you told us!!

OOPS!

BTW sister's SIL has a great guy there who was available to help us pack up everything for the move from Cambridge to ATL. PM me if you need help.

The problem is getting the house ready to sell.

Hope you both had a wonderful birthday, and good luck TFT on the new move.

Sorry, the one that would meet that was out in Duxbury and holy crap what a commute. I'll ask if she can check around.

Is there a possibility of renting your existing home so you're not losing money?

October in Boston.

That being said, it should be a great experience for you all, TFT. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting our daughter while she was at MIT.

Wow! Boston!

Not only have several Sowallers been planning a trip there, so you won't be lonely, but just think how close you will be to so many great and historic places!

Don't worry, winter and snow are nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be. You just get the appropriate clothing and learn a couple tricks to deal. A good moisturizer is key, as are shearling slippers w/ good shoelike bottoms (mine are goodyear aquatred), a fireplace, and an attached garage.
