Beach Comber
I have been a Grayton Beach bum for the last 2 years and it just occured to me that I have never seen a Seadoo there. Are these banned?

I hope so!!! Really not sure, but rarely have seen them there..........If they are legal...hope they are out past the 2nd sandbar so it doesn't run anyone over.

Shut your Mouth!

I agree!!!!!! Who is gonna bail me out when I sink their ski? The only ski I wanna see is on a trailer not being used by ems because if they are something bad has happened. Also motorized vessels are not supposed to be within 1500 feet of a swimming area! Don't quote me on the distance thing, I used to know this.:idontno:

Do those things sink?????

They certainly are not allowed in Western Lake, the Coastal Dune Lake at Grayton Beach. Jet Skis or Seedoos are banned from all the Coastal Dune Lakes in South Walton (SoWal), Walton County.

Saw a speed boat pulling a tuber a couple of times recently. Are these things ok in the dube lakes?

Thankfully Seadoos were banned from the 30A beaches back in the 90's. I think that you can rent and ride them in the Miramar Beach area though.
