Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I made it back in one piece. The tournament went well and all the boys had a great time. My grandma is still hanging on but there is no improvement and I don't know how much longer she will be with us. She is a strong women. I can't imagine not being able to see her again. In the mean time I will go see her as much as possible. I'm not even sure she knows I'm there, but I want to think she does. I hope everyone is doing fine. I will post when I can.

:welcome: back!!! You have been missed. I am glad your grandma is in town so you can spend time with her. I'll be thinking of you.

I'm glad you'll be able to spend time with her too, you'll never regret one minute. Remember we're here...

Keep talking to her. My Mother in law had alzheimers and hadn't spoken in months. I would go and sit by her bed and do my "monologue". One day I told her I had spoken to my niece (her grand daughter) and she looked at me for the first time in months and said "Jenny". I couldn't believe it. That was all she said - but it gave me incentive to keep talking to her. She died about a week later.

I'll be thinking of you too. Treasure your moments with your grandmother.

On some level, she know's you're there CoS. I was very close to both of my Grandmothers. One died when I was very young, the other one passed away when my daughter was 5 mos. old. I still miss them both so much. I have so many happy memories of them both though. I will have you and your grandma in my thoughts and prayers every day!

I will be praying for you and your family CoS. Sending good thoughts your way!

Thanks so much. I really appreciate all of the support and prayers. I know I (and my family) will get through this. It's just really hard right now.

i'm glad you have a wonderful grandmother - mine is the anti-grandmother so treasure what you have. actually mine is more like beelzebub in an old lady's body. you will have wonderful memories - i know i do of my papaw, i still miss him and it has been 8 yrs.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you all know I appreciate your prayers. My Mammy passed yesterday. I'm doing ok. I went through tons of pictures yesterday and thought about all the great times I had with her. I had so much fun with her when I was a child. I was amazed at how a picture could make me remember things I had not thought of in so long. I am so glad she was my Mammy. She taught me so many things that make me who I am today. She was a wonderful lady. The funeral will be this Thursday, so please keep me and mine in your prayers. Thanks!
