Dude...you have won my heart! My thought exactly! Like, what is wrong with $1M? I used to think if I won a lottery, what fun it would be to give it away....I now hear that is a huge problem as well!!!
 :lolabove: Wife often refers to me as the Congenital Boy Scout - maybe one of the reasons I work for a big corp as opposed to running one
Gotta admit it would be tempting to just go nutz...
Let's see, a nice little Hawker XP to bat down to SoWal on weekends - that's about $30M, something like $2500/hr or so to operate, another $175K or so anually for hanger, pilot & incidentals... Maybe I could use a little more than 10

So is that a 20 year payout of $500 per year, before taxes? Woo- hoo! Party.

I just heard on the news that a Senator won $800,000+ in the recent Powerball Lotto. I think it was rigged. :idontno:

Money goes to money.. doesn't that always happen?

Very often that is the case. You know Alan Greenspan recently won a Porsche, but he cannot accept gifts over $25 per person per year (or something like that), plus he doesn't even own a car, so he is donating it to charity.

You know...when I started my job we had to go over that. Working in the publicity department we are in the world of "gifting" - or giving editors and celebs our stuff so they will wear/ write about it- just plain kissing ass. At my old job around Christmas, all the assistants would send out NICE gifts from clients. I sent out Juicy sweatsuits which retail at about $215 a set- because that was my client. I got a Coach bag, spa treaments, crazy stuff. But now being in a more corporate setting we have to be very very careful about what we accept and how we do it.

I heard on TV this was the same senator whose wife was abducted by gunmen a couple of years ago to an ATM for a "forced" withdrawal of cash. I guess it is kharma evening out.
