I have some Publix bags. Would that work?

Dam* straight! I miss my Publix! I got a little misty today...opened the way back of the car and there it was....SAND! We have renters coming tomorrow...that makes me feel better, that someone will be there!

Hey GTTBM- I bet Camden will be the only baby around with a multi-page thread printout from SOWal .com- and it's all about him! Definitely one for the baby book. Although I think this thread has become a baby book by itself! :rolling: Wonder what he will think when he reads all of this when he is grownup?

If he's at all like his Mom, he'll have the eye roll thing  going on. Then he'll say "GRAAAANAAAA" why did you do that?!?

GTTBM,

Skip the instruction books, Cliff Notes, and the like. Do what everybody else does - Ask for advice from the SoWal message board pros! SoWal can help raise that little fellow.

Hope all is well tonight.

Yes, but the Publix in Sandestin, WaterColor, and Lake Powell (west PCB) now have reuseable cloth bags for purchase, so I encourage you to buy a few, reduce, reuse, and recycle. :D

Just remember, I don't have kids, so I will be experimenting. :D

I need to get on my Publix here to do that. It's on my list first thing tomorrow. Thanks for that reminder.

Even those of us who DO have kids are experimenting. How come nobody told me about the Cliff Notes?

SJ, the only prob. about your no diapers white t-shirt theory is that sandy poop is pretty nasty.

Same here with another premie born in June (Gemini). 5#, and that girl, though she struggled a bit and caused many scares, is doing great, and blew past 5 # with no problem.
Our preemie is now 6'2". The only problems she had were (a) a little jaundice and (b) having a klutz as a mother. Our house was Dutch colonial with sloped ceilings upstairs, and I was focusing so hard on navigating her feet into one of those infant carriers that you strap on yourself that I lifted her too high, hitting her soft spot on the ceiling so hard that the abrasion bled. We took her to Egleston Children's Hospital in ATL. I stayed in bed crying for days because I was afraid I'd damaged her brain and she wouldn't be smart. (I was able to indulge myself in this breakdown because we had a nanny since I was pretty weak after being hospitalized on a boatload of anticontaction drugs, steroids, having breathing problems, etc., for two months).

Anyhow, so happy things are going well with gttbm's grandchild.
