a time to reflect to the past this christmas season. when sheriff ralph johnson was at the helm, his department collected toys' and donated to the needy throughout walton county. i haven't seen a blessed toy for the poor under sheriff mikkie a. adkinson, jr.
last sunday, i did see an elderly couple stopped in their 1980's era sedan in the darlington community as an adkinson deputy drug dog sniffed outside the vehicle.
it's just another reason why we must say "No" to this power-hungry politician when he runs for re-election in 2012.
p.s. i understand gov-elect scott was not too pleased seeing old bill mccollough advertisements showing him arm-in-arm with sheriff mikkie. gee, virginia there is no santa claus in the walton county sheriff's office.
