Also say a prayer for the LEO who had to act. So often we forget that when they are in those positions they have to make decisions that the rest of us will never face. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to shoot someone.

Well, keep us informed. I just rode down the road and didnt see anything. There was a deputy standing in a driveway talking to the man that lives at that house, but I wasnt going to pull in and ask "Hey *****..wth is going on over here?"

it didn't happen at that house. they are just concerned friends of the mother and daughter of the man that got shot... it happened further down...

And that, BIG surprise, the Sheriff's office is not returning calls.

From all accounts, it sounds like the deputies did the right thing, it is a shame it had to happen.

There is not enough info yet to know if they did the right thing. There could have been a way to wound or stop him without killing him. Cops are supposed to try to help people that need it, not just kill them so I would hold my judgement until you know all of the facts.
