How's the water conditions been lately, flagwise and slime-wise. Anybody have pics of the beaches near Ed Walline?
I wasn't going to ask it because 1) I know that you must be tired of answering it and 2) conditions change daily --according to Mother Nature's whim...3) I'm afraid of the answer....but I am just soooo hoping that we have the great weather and swimming conditions that we've had so many years in the past and have drawn us back year after year.
We always come Week 2 and 3 in August. Normally we've had GREAT weather.... but last year we had an entire week and then some with only one afternoon where we could actually swim in the ocean, and the water was not clear but murky and with a lot of the green slimy stuff. The rest of the days were red flag. It's a looooooong drive to LOOK at the ocean, so we ended up bagging the last three or four days, bugging out and going to Disney World
Yeah, I know we can make a sandcastle, take a walk, read a book, blah blah blah, but I want to swim in the gulf!!!!!
