Should I stay or should I go?

I would have stayed had it not been for finding out my nephew had a fire drill at school and the teacher told him Auntie Mango would meet him at the bus IF there was an emergency. He misunderstood and cried when I was not there.
If I had my own plane I would have flown upside down to get home.

I just got off the phone with her, she's at the airport, ready to leave. We didn't even get a chance to get crabcakes. I guess I'll have to make more of an effort to meet up when she calls.

That "effort" would have been useful in March...

Latest report. Peapod missed the plane, then got onto a 1pm flight. They're sitting on the runway forever and the pilot comes on and announces that they need oil in one of the engines. Then he comes back on later and announces that they have the oil, but no qualified mechanic to service the engine. Closest one is in Dallas and he's on his way, to arrive at 5pm. So everybody gets to disembark to be reticketed on a 4:30 flight. She's posting from her PDA, when she goes out front to get a signal.
