I just had a conversation with a family member who believes the fresh shrimp in Mobile are much better than the ones in Seagrove area. Any truth to this idea?

They're still alive? LOL. I've seen the boat, but I'm scared to buy there. We always buy at Goatfeathers.RiverOtter said:there is usually a shrimp boat parked at the 331 bridge. My brothers always buy shrimp there and say it's good.![]()

That might be why if you go to a good Cajun restaurant, like K-Paul's, they still have the heads on. Actually if you've ever lived in NOLA as I have, bought a bushel of crawfish, sucked the heads, and thrown the remains into Lake Pontchartrain (while drinking Dixie beer), you'd understand.RiverOtter said:Yup , I think it the heads on stuff too. They claim the shrimps have more flavor that way![]()
