I think Mermaid and Sueshore are pumping me full of hot air, and I may explode any moment now. (Insert exploding smilie here.)

You never know when you may meet someone.

Illustrious??? I may have to look up that word.
Hmm, lunch?

Directions???
So many things to do.

No...I did not meet SJ. He remains a mystery to me. SJ...are you really not going to eat turkey at Thanksgiving?

Nope, I am going to sit this thanksgiving out, except for the veggies. No particular reason, but I received the cutest vegetarian thanksgiving ecard a week ago, and that made up mind for me. Really it is no big deal to me, but to the turkey, it means everything. ;-)

I really do no like turkey...its so dry, I have never eaten a good one. If someone knows a good recipe which makes the bird turn out moist and delicious I am all ears (or in this case eyes--on the screen)!

I would be a vegetarian if it were not for poultry and fish.

Buy a turkey breast, put it in one of those oven roasting bags and bake as directed. They are almost TOO juicy! No particular brand of turkey is required.

SJ, directions = telling me how to get around down there and navigate! It's one thing to read about the various stores and restaurants, but to know exactly HOW to get there is a little tougher.

And I WILL go to the Red Bar one (maybe 3) nights! :floor:

Look for me in there! I will look like a tourist, and I am short!

Suuny D...you are a riot! If you can possibly get lost on 30-A, please tell us! Seriously...there are maps in a few publications and when in doubt...JUST ASK!

I hope this isn't a sign that I am not supposed to eat turkey this year. There is a momma turkey and 3 "teenage" turkeys that live in the woods around the vet clinic. It used to be we would look out the windows and see them hanging out on the edge of the woods. Not anymore. They like hanging out on the wrap around porch (and pooping), looking in the glass entrance doors used by the clients , and hanging around a side of the building waiting to scare the crap out of any dog and person coming around the corner. One poor girl rounded the building walking a 50 pound lab pup- they saw the turkeys at the same time the turkeys flew right at them, and girl and dog ended up in a heap!

Next they will be marching around the parking lot waving little signs "Eat chicken!"
