That guy is nutzo. I think he left his balls on the plane. When I was skydiving, the sixth set of jumpers for the day included one guy whose chute failed to open (about $4,000 down the tubes) He got his back up chute to open at about 1,000ft. This was one of the two screw up jumps of the day. The other was my friend whose chute, which was lightly packed, opened prematurally upon exiting the plane at 13,000ft. The pilots had to call the airports and report jumpers out at 13,000, and all air traffic was directed around the area. about 45 minutes later, they landed safely into a fresh warm cowpie in the darkness of night. That was the sunset jump of the day.
