how is driving that way-we were considering coming for the weekend from southwest ga but may go next weekend instead. we arent upset if its wet there just don't want an accident on the way.

Driving here is fine- but you are located where it is supposed to be worse- sounds like you biggest problem will be leaving SW Georgia, not driving at the beach!

I grew up in sw Georgia, Bainbridge to be exact, how is the weather, any snow???
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but presently this snow very much resembles rain!
I am breaking out my Alaska Xtra Tuff boots though!
 
Signing on just long enough to report that it is snowing in DFS. They are sending us pictures.

And here we sit in the salt air and rain...:bang:
 
ShallowsFuzz is heading north and reports snow flurries at First American Farms (newbies will know that as Owl's Head, just north of Freeport High School).

None of it is sticking, but still...:roll:
