Yes it is the empty space that has use in a vessel. Without the emptiness the vessel would be lump of clay. Therefore, the donut has profitable adaptation, while the hole gives it actual usefulness. Without the hole, the donut is merely a blob of dough. Once the donut is eaten, the hole becomes the seed that gives birth to many donuts to come. :scratch:
