It's Dune-ahh's Summer Beer....

6 beers (I use Corona)
1 12 0z. can frozen lemonade or limeade (I use Limeade)
1 12 can Vodka
1 12 oz. can Sprite, Water or Club Soda. (I use CS for the fizz)

It makes a lot. I have never tried storing it in the fridge for any length of time. I DO NOT drink the whole thing myself. If it's just me, I half it. :D

:drink2: Sounds tasty!

That sounds like it'll kick yo butt and make you PUI. Just sayin~~~~~~~
:rolling:

hmmm. that sounds mighty tasty. I need an alternative to just plain ol' beer. I've had a good night. Watched an awesome lightning storm come across the bay. got a little rain, saw a lightning bug (I rarely ever see these) and got scared off the porch by a grasshopper as big as my hand! Life is good.

did i mention the cold beer, the rest of the family is asleep and i'm eatin' some dang good spaghetti?

Good case of the late night munchies - YUM!
Meanwhile, I just lost my patience with a basic sloppy, slurring some words, pathetic drunk......I was polite, but couldn't hang around, that's for sure. I'd much rather play with All Y'all!

Here's another to COOL you down!. ..(an internet find!)
.
Spike watermelon with lime flavored vodka.
You make a hole in the watermelon all the way into the meat.
Place a funnel in the hole and pour in the vodka.
It takes a long time for the watermelon to soak it up.
2 cups takes about 2 days, so do it in the fridge.
The result is awesome. Cut the melon into wedges and serve.

I vaguely remember doing this in my youth.;-) Sounds so refreshing right now for sure!
p.s. I don't think we had lime flavored vodka back then.

Dune-ahhh - is this your stuff? I need to try it!

Yes. Definitely try it! I use water because I don't want sweetness or more carbonation than cheapo beer provides. It's a very flexible recipe depending on your own tastes and what you have on hand. The only substitution I've tried that I really didn't like was Guinness dark ale.

Lemonade concen+ Vodka
Limeade concen + Tequila
Apple Juice concen + 3 to 1 Sour Apple Vodka / Sour Pucker Schnapps

I haven't tried using bourbon... but that might be good with Lemonade or OJ.

Let us know how you like it!

A friend emailed me this recipe. She said she got it out of a magazine, tried it and exclaims its tooo good.

Enjoy:

Peach Sangria

5 ripe freestone peaches, halved then sliced ?-inch thick
1 orange, halved then sliced ?-inch thick
2 lemons, sliced in ?-inch circles
1 can (5.5 oz) pineapple juice (to color)
? bottle Riesling Sp?tlese
2 bottles pinot grigio
2 ? oz Hiram Walker peach brandy
2 ? oz peach schnapps
2 ? oz Triple Sec

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

To serve:
Add 5 oz of mixture to glass (include 5?6 pieces of fruit), fill glass with ice, and add a splash of soda water and a splash of Sprite.
