This is what I found when I came home yesterday. A huge snake. Thank God it was not poisonous, we looked it up, it was an Oak snake. Did you hear me scream?

I called Swafia who was 15 minutes away, so I had to watch the snake so it wouldn't slither off somewhere where it could not be found. It tried to get away and I had to chase it down and it lunged at me....that's when the screaming started.

I was shaking so violently when Swafia got there, I could hardly stand. That sucker was at least 4 feet long and po'd. I think it came in through the dryer vent. How I slept last night, I do not know.

Thinking it was a rattlesnake, we killed it. Plus, getting it out of the house alive would be difficult. I feel bad now knowing it was a good snake, but I don't want it back in my house.

Glad you're ok. I heard you screaming 'cause I remember what it was like screaming at that chipmunk in my house. Thought it was a rat or something.
