Willie was my mother's toy when she was a child. At one time there was a stick that you put into the hole and pushed him along from side to side making him "walk". She was born in 1927 so it's from the early 30's more than likely. I've had him 11 years now, she passed away when I was 30 so Willie is very very special to me
