OK - finally watched the Soprano last night - some thoughts - let me know what you think

Is it possible we saw the last episode last night? The next shows will lead up to what we saw. I don't remember Janice being pregnant - Johnny Sack was in jail - the last episode had him being arrested. Christopher seems to have come pretty far - Captain. I don't remember Eugene - they spent a lot of time on his role and his family. With Tony being shot it just felt like this is how they would end the series.

Or maybe they figure it has been two years - so these are just things that have happened over the last two years.

Lots of things happened between seasons! Two years later and Janice has a baby, Tony and Carm are lovey dovey,Tony still in therapy That son of theirs is a piece of work. Christopher's jokes crack me up. It just goes to prove if you're a foot soldier for the mob, don't make plans to retire to Florida.

Interesting thought beachlover. Hmmm. :scratch: Very little of it made any sense to me ... but then I fell asleep for awhile in the middle since I am a full-fledged member of the Z-team these days. Gotta watch it again. Love that HBO on demand ...

What really made me confused is that Janice's baby was 15 months old, so by all rights close to 2 years has passed in Sopranos time. That would mean Meadow should be married by now. Did anyone see whether she was wearing a ring?

hmmmmm, I don't think the guys can answer that, they probably were not looking at her hands..... I have watched the episode twice now, I'm still in shock how this one started. Now after reading all of your comments, I may watch it again. My hubby missed it so I know he will want to watch it before next week. I thought Christopher had made captain last season... but don't quote me.
