I so appreciate your input and concern here. I’ve never been remotely involved in anything like this. But you don’t have to be a brain surgeon to recognize that this seems ALLLLLL WRONGGG. When I set up my account on SoWal years and years ago.. I didn’t know better than to use my real name. At that time it was Susan Brock. I have remarried and am now Susan Hinds. I posted this photo on my facebook ... only to bring awareness of this situation. I would hope someone would step up for me. I do think that every day brings more awareness.. and hopefully a fair investigation into what looks like... NOT. Again I will say that I have reason to support the sheriff and his looking into this investigation and I will not throw stones. I am horrified on so many levels. The employee wanted to take her appointment book and the owner said no because it was property of the business. The business owns any clients that walk in but employees want to take them and her book. The book was not in the shop so this nice lady beat the hell out of the owner. She stole her phone , tablet and the owners other appointment book. The police make the shop owner feel like she did something wrong and tell her she can't press charges.

Later we find out that this lady was a cop. She knows that a beating like this is not justified use of force but She and her husband have connections in the right places. The cops make local business owner feel like she did something wrong and her stuff is still not returned.

Got the incident report, WCSO furnished it right away upon request. However, that is all they have available at this time, as they say it is still an active investigation.

The shop owner was trying to get to a phone during the beating to call the police. She picked up the first phone then the employee attacked her again. The employee grabbed the phone out of her hand and threw the phone on the floor. The phone was on the floor in pieces it looked broken but it had connected to 911. That's the call log that was posted. The shop owner tried to pick up another phone and the employee broke that second phone. Then the shop owner picked up her cell phone and the employee stole that phone and the other items as she and her husband ran away from the scene so they could conspire a story.

That's mynderstanding at this point.
Allegedly no action by WCSO (not unusual), the two suspects are Ex-Law Enforcement and the male is some how connected to the County through beach vending.

Sounds like the start of another "connected Principal DUI off the 331 Bridge" or "let's beat up a priest in Miramar Beach"...

You would not believe that our Sheriff would have so many sketchy situations until you find yourself or you loved ones a victim of this kind of friends taking care of friends thing that goes on in Walton County. Once your eyes open you understand that all the respect and honor that you want to extend toward the police who deserve our support is tainted by a few bad apples that includes our Sheriff. You would never even believe this stuff is real until it hapends' to you.

Evidence of an assault is just the beginning. The defendant's story/testimony is just part of a case. There is a lot more to it. A witness would be important if there is no solid evidence.
