NOW HIRING The South Walton Fire District is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to staff our peak rescue unit. Fire Standards are NOT required for this employment opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES: EMTs and Paramedics will run 911 medical calls and perform interfacility transfers throughout the Emerald Coast. This is an ALS unit capable of responding emergent and non-emergent depending on the call type.
HIGHLIGHTS: EMTs starting pay is $21.60/hour, Paramedics starting pay is $27/hour, both positions work a 40 hours/week schedule with alternating weekends off and have access to exceptional benefits and retirement plan options.
