WORKING and getting school wrapped up and band camp started, etc.

If I have to spend many more days at work watching a co-worker NOT WORK, I think I may be on SoWal more often. Ha! I like my work, but it's very frustrating watching someone avoid doing much (especially when there is so much to do! ) .....

I miss not being able to read all the threads.

Vacation soon though!

your work sounds like mine. it is amazing to watch people spend more energy trying to get out of work than just doing the work to begin with.

Thanks for noticing! I have been in Ottawa where it was 94 degrees, oh my!
The Cap'n had to teach the cabbies how to turn on the air conditioning - they never need to use it! It was a beautiful city and I prefered the heat over the cold temperatures of the week before. We should have some pretty pics.

Sounds likea woman I work with. We have five women in our office full time. One woman does the least amount of work of any of the rest and gets it seems, everything she wants. That is one statement she made in there is that she always gets her way. She is slow, and has rarely lifted a finger to help with all the many special projects we have to do, she has been there about 2 years. and has been there the least amount of time and is the one who gets away with murder. She's a constant complainer about the noise my boss and I make when we pack. She hides behind a cubby, and really wanted it so she could hide behind it to play on the internet. She grumbles all day long about not getting her work done, she is slow. She quit her previous job right before they were going to fire her because of her slowness and playing. She has one job, and piles her stuff all over everywhere and lets it sit for a week hoping someone else will do her work for her. We let it sit. Our big boss is not fond of her and lets her know it with the tone of voice thing. And after she hangs up she calls her the "b" word. How can one worthless person get away with so much?

if i didn't know better i would think we worked at the same place.... i guess the squeaky wheel does always get the grease, huh ? why is it the worst workers get away with everything, from doing no work to making their own schedules.
