Hi, all. I am going to do a special show tomorrow that I think SoWallers will enjoy. For the first half hour, I will be featuring excerpts from local artist Geoffrey McBride’s www.myspace.com/geoffmcbride latest album “If It Wasn’t For The Heartache” produced by Tim Jackson. I will be playing their 2009 Grammy nominated song “Put OnYour Sexy” in the set.
For the second half hour, I will be playing songs from Birmingham band “Act of Congress”. www.myspace.com/actofcongress Their first release, “Declaration”, is a mixture of bluegrass, newgrass, and just plain great musicianship. They will also be performing at the Seaside Amphitheater on Saturday, February 14th at 5:00pm for a Valentine’s Day concert sponsored by The Merchants of Seaside and 30A Radio.
I hope you’ll join me tomorrow afternoon from 3:00 until 6:00 for my show “A Box of Chocolates” ‘cause you never know what you’re gonna get.
You can find 30A Radio at 107.1 on your radio or we stream Seaside worldwide online at http://www.30aradio.org/
