Spring break 2013 question

We come there 2 x a year, spring and fall. What date should we aim for in April if we want to come after the biggest part of the spring break rush? Thanks for any tips!

You definitely doing want to be in South Walton during the Atlanta Metro schools spring break, April 8-12. This is "Atlanta Beach" after all. LOL.

Here http://inertiatours.com/spring_break_dates.php is a list of college spring breaks. You want to avoid the weeks that the University of Alabama, Auburn University, the University of Georgia, and the University of Tennessee are on break.

If you can get a rental starting mid-week, go for it! But the Atlanta spring breakers will be there until Saturday or Sunday, so be prepared. Buy enough food so that you don't have to dine out until they leave.
