I'm hoping SJ meant a colostomy instead of a colonoscopy, 'cause if she had a colonoscopy somebody has beening lying to me. I was just getting ready to schedule a colonoscopy, now I'm skeered.

It wasn't a colonoscopy. Even if the person had polyps removed, they wouldn't know the difference the next day. I had that done in ATL and flew to Dallas the next day to see my first nephew born.

There is one good thing about an upper or a lower GI - the Versed. It makes you feel so happy and love everyone. One of my girlfriends is an anesthesiologist - she smiles when I tell her this and says, "Yes, we've had a lot of success with that drug." My husband teases me about telling the doctor and every nurse in the recovery room, "Oh, I *LOVE* you, Doctor! I *LOVE* you, Rhonda!" etc., etc.

I kiddingly asked my friend if she could get me some for Saturday nights. She ROTFL.

Seems you and I are in the same boat! I go in this Friday. I picked up my draino last week in a HUGE brown paper bag. Mr. K pulled it out of the pantry thinking it was a bag of tortillas chips!!!
