Star Jones

[Franny]

Did anyone watch the View this morning? Baba announced Star was gone because Star announced on the show yesterday that she would not be returning..I didn't watch yesterday so I'm not sure what happened. BW did say that ABC was not renewing Star's contract but did not expect her to react this way...whatever... it was the best View I have seen in years!

Dang it! I missed it! I don't normally watch or tivo, but I heard this was coming and meant to!!

I saw yesterday's and today's. (disclaimer - - it's on in the kitchen while I work at my computer in a totally different room.)
But Star made a nice announcement, unbeknownst to the remaining hosts, that she was leaving at the end of JULY, nothing was said about contract renewals, just remarks that The View is choosing to go a different route, etc., and she has chosen to search for her own path, blah, blah, blah. They all sat and held hands. I wondered what or if there was any truth to the rumor of discord between Star and BW but all seemed fine yesterday. But today was another story! Wow! She was gone, sort of like being escorted out of the building! BW said she had wanted Star to leave with dignity but BW sort of blew that apart!
