The new Stinky's Outfitter and Bit Shack is hiring for the following positions:

  • Early AM servers
  • Retail salespeople
Come by between 2 and 4 Monday through Friday to fill out an application.

p.s. not sure if you are affiliated with Stinky's fish camp.....but I am a regular there in the summer, and Ben knows me pretty well.
 
Is the place open for business yet? I walk by it nearly every day and can't tell. I would like to stop in and see what's there.
 
Marykaci, thanks for your interest. Just come in whenever you get in town. We are part of Stinky's Fish Camp, so you can fill out an application there or right next door at Stinky's Outfitter and Bait Shack.

Ash, we are open! Come on in and check it out. Hours of operation are currently 11AM to 9PM. However, in the near future, we will open a breakfast cafe. When that happens we will be open 6AM - 9PM.
 
Also, we are still hiring! We need early AM servers, as well as retail salespeople. Again, you can apply at Stinky's Fish Camp or right next door at Stinky's Outfitter and Bait Shack.

Hello Stinky's fish camp and bait shack!!! (tell Ben this is marykaci- has favorite summer customer!) Anyways....I am finally coming down this Sunday for a week to fill out an application and hopefully get an interview with your lovely restaurant. I have a deep passion for Stinky's food, cuisine, and atmosphere. (we eat there almost every night when on 30A) (im obsessed with stinky's stew.........and have yet to meet an employee that i do not like or love!!) I also am wanting to relocate there, if you have any suggestions for a reasonable place to rent or room, or something close by?

Dune-AHH, you are so right! The new bait shack is in the building the Lake Place was in. We were running into parking issues with the two restaurants right next to each other. So, in order to free up some parking spaces, we have temporarily closed The Lake Place while we search for a new location. Stinky's Fish Camp is still open right next door though!
 
And I might add that the place is absolutely gorgeous inside.....for a bait shop.
Looks more like a bar selling shirts and fishing gear than a bait shop. Hope the gulf holds out for your business.
