From what I was told, the smoke is coming from fire west in Gulf Shores.

The smoke you smell this morning along our beaches is from a wildfire in Gulf Shores that occurred last week. A small fire that grew to over 200 acres is the span of a couple of hours. Help us protect Walton County and our communities!
