I went to the grocery store today with "marshmallow ice cream topping" written on my list, thanks to you, and they were out of it! Made me mad I'd ever heard of it!

A mermaid in a pickle you mean...she's hanging on a tree instead of floating around in the sea!!! I do see the resemblence though!
No, we don't have a pickle though we should get one, for good luck. I have lots of other "food" on the tree, though! Those Christopher Radko ornaments come in all sorts of delectable shapes.

I was Christmas shopping today and saw the funniest mermaid/merman ornaments at a store called Metropolitan. I thought of you!
Aw, I wish I could have seen them, well, maybe it's a good thing I didn't because I'd have bought them! My family is about this close to OD'ing on the mermaid stuff...and I'm just getting started. Mermaid shopping (er, "touching") is what I'm going to do in SoWal during Christmas week. Lily Pads, here I come!

On our way home from a concert tonight we stopped for minty sundaes. Peppermint icecream, hot fudge and whipped cream. YUM!
Ocean Lover, I have that same ornament on my tree, the blue purse. And lucky you to get your daughter to pose in front of the tree. I think I'm going to have to hog-tie my daughter and son just to get them for five minutes in one place. Teenagers have more energy than is humanely possible.
