Sunset?

This time of year is the sun setting over the gulf? I seem to remember last time we visited in September the sunsets were much more dramatic than when we would visit during May-June timeframe.

According to weather.com, sunset tonight will be at 7:17 PM tonight.

Actually the sunsets at the beach are the prettiest on my birthday, December 22. It's the first full day of winter, and the sun sets farther south. The Gulf looks like a crystal lit from below. Absolutely gorgeous. Of course, the downside is that it gets dark before 5.

It does look like a crystal lit from below.

It really does. It's unbelievable, hard to explain to someone who hasn't seen it, and one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
