A friend of mine showed me the mls listing were shorty's is for sale.What I found in teresting is a transaction was made in dec 2012 were a corp out of new jersey bought it. I have no idea if shorty's owns the corp but its out of new jersey were shortys owner is from. If whoever owns the land and building gets what there asking for i'd sell it too.All this is public info. I love shortys food but it must be hell competing with the red bar who hog most of the parking. Theres just nowere to park during the season

Jay Odom owns the building and if Shorty's is for sale, it probably does not include the real estate, just the business, which is incorporated in Florida with share holders from New Jersey.
 
I looked in public records and you are correct, Jay Odom sold to Shorty's partners in 2012. Really good price in my opinion.
