Sure Is Quite The Weekend....

New posts
I'm busy in ATL on weekends (if not at SoWal), shopping and dining.

Went to the AJC's "Top Restaurant of the Year," Pura Vida. It's not the best restaurant in ATL (that's Bacchanalia, IMHO), but in terms of trends (tapas/Latin) combined with quality combined with price, I agree. Food was creative with the most discriminating and unusual ingredients, artistically presented. Great drinks - loved the quality of the mojito with the freshest of mint. Very interesting wine list, including cava.

Also, you know we all don't get lathered up on the board unless there's a hurricane or something happens that might affect property values or rentals. LOL.

AND IT IS FOOTBALL SEASON! I MEAN, WE HAVE OUR PRIORITIES!!!!!

As a Gator, I still feel like :puke:

BR- I am not trying to rub it in I promise. :D That stadium has never been louder. I just thought it was cool from a sports in general point of view.

Gives me chill bumps how loud that was.

I understand. I've felt the same way in Ben Hill Griffin.

Well, this is the first season I haven't wanted to cry after almost every game since 1999.

Fall Break for Alabama and Georgia.

Also, I have a theory that most people log on to SoWal.com when they are at work, based on the low participation on the weekends. :D Sure, there could be other reasons, but this theory is more fun to believe.

It's taken a few years, but I am actually no longer embarrassed to go to work on Mondays after the Gators have disappointed me. There was a time when I went to work every Monday and glowed in the orange aura of victory (SWEEEEET!), but those days appear to be gone.
