Does anyone ever catch anything surf fishing at IB? If so, what? What bait should be used? What's the best time of the year to catch?
 
You can usually catch fish in the surf anytime of year except when the water is very cold. Use a bottom rig with sand fleas or shrimp. You can get both frozen at several places on 30A.

There are a few threads on surf fishing.
 
Now is the best time of year. Gold spoons rule and the mackeral and pompanos should be around and maybe some reds. Good luck.
