Jonathan is certainly becoming a big player in the show. We saw the show with my family on Thanksgiving and then called Jon (who is 3 hours Time Zone behind us) right after the show to warn him not to let his kids watch the show at the very end after the tribal council when Nate said all those nasty things about him. He doesn't know how the show is edited, nor does he know what other people said about him, until how he sees the show like the rest of us.
Jonathan is playing the game hard and just about everyone is suspicious of him (to put it mildly). He's making the show more interesting to watch for sure. He has stayed friends with some of the other contestants and stays in touch with them regularly. As he said during tribal council, he had the time of his life. We love our Jonathan.
