Swapping the term "same-sex sodomy" for "gay"?

Conservative activists at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University for "The Awakening," a conference on issues like the threat of Islamic law to the Constitution, the coming monetary collapse, and the abortion?"Holocaust" were addressed by ?pro-family? activist, Ryan Sorba, who suggested they stop using the word "gay" and instead substitute something like "same-sex sodomy" or "same sex attraction" ..... ..:shock:

Nope.

This is why they are losing the battle - it isn't the use of a word that causes or promotes homosexuality. :roll:

People are gay even though being so can be a death sentence in many parts of of the world - a linguistic nuance ain't gonna change that.

Plus, being gay is not just about physical acts. One can be gay and celibate - just ask the Pope about official Vatican policy.

P.S. I think these people just like to say "sodomy" - it gives them a tingle.

Unabashed hate from people who follow religious teachings that speak of compassion and tolerance for others. I dismiss these people outright - they somehow managed to misinterpreted scripture. Epic fail.
