Looking for volunteer!
Each year, the South Walton Community Council puts together the Back to Nature Festival to celebrate the natural beauty of South Walton. Last year, the Back to Nature Festival featured a new event, Family Fun Day, which was a huge success. We had over 25 vendors, including nature based family activities, natural and organic foods, green building, and the Art Miles Mural project. Approximately 400-500 people visited the event, which took place at the Lyceum in Seaside.
This year, we would like to continue to offer this event and we are looking for someone to assist as a coordinator. If this is of interest, please pm me. This is a great opportunity for someone who is searching for some way to give back to the community. The time requirements are up to the individual and I will be available to assist in any way necessary. If you are a business owner or part of another organization, we can include your information in future press releases as a supporter and volunteer for the SWCC's Back to Nature Festival. Family Fun Day will be on Oct. 17, 2009.
Thank you,
Chandra Hartman
