Sorry, I may have their activities confused. It was Jdarg who was going to the airport. Both JDarg and Pea to the Pod are cute as buttons, and have good looking families. I would go over for a margarita as they asked, but I don't want to interfear with their vacation time. I will see them all tomorrow at Pandora's -- I hope.

She was on her way out the door with Merman to bike to Rosemary beach. It was about 98 degrees in Atlanta yesterday so I can't begin to imagine how hot and humid it must've been in SoWal. I hope she didn't melt into a small puddle somewhere between Seagrove and RB! :funn: I hope she's lounging somewhere with a nice tall glass of something!

Are you joking? You must not know Mermaid too well. After that bike ride to Rosemary, the Mers went kayaking (even though we did a four hour non-stop kayak ride the day prior). She says the kayak experience was filled with windy weather. Imagine that, Tropical Storm Alberto is picking up steam.

Steeleling3 spotted a mermaid in the gulf Saturday. And a merman! :shock:

I thought that was Steeleing2 whom we saw. I am losing it?

What happened to Thomas Hicks the landscaper? I know he had equipment involved in a bad accident on the 331 bridge, but never knew the out come. Sounds like he is in jail from some posts.

I think he was convicted of vehicular manslaughter, since he did not tie down his equipment on the trailer, which caused the unfortunate accident, killing another man. That was a sad day for all involved and their friends and families. Thomas is a good guy who was in an unfortunate situation.

Don't quote me on the charges.

I doubt he's in jail since he's been hired to do the landscaping that the developer never finished in Paradise Retreat (Miramar Beach). At least it's his company that's doing the job.

I am uncertain whether or not he is still in jail, but his girlfriend was minding the shop while he was away. The store never stopped.

Does anyone know if Tom is still away? I often wonder when I drive past his place on Chat Holly.
